{"id":716,"date":"2023-01-24T09:29:24","date_gmt":"2023-01-24T08:29:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/int.cleanwreck.org\/?page_id=716"},"modified":"2025-03-20T17:41:17","modified_gmt":"2025-03-20T16:41:17","slug":"guiding-principles","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/int.cleanwreck.org\/?page_id=716","title":{"rendered":"Guiding principles"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4 class=\"western\">Principles for all our activities<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\">The objective of <strong>cleanwreck.org<\/strong> is to <b>conserve the ocean<\/b> and have fun doing so.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\">Whatever we do contributes to <b>environmental protection<\/b> in general and <b>marine conservation<\/b> in particular.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\">Searching for and decontaminating wrecks, cleaning coasts and building boats and ships only works as a <b>team<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\">We are committed to <b>liberty, equality, diversity, fairness and solidarity<\/b> and firmly reject any form of <b>racism, fascism<\/b> or <b>discrimination of any kind<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\">We strive for <b>win-win-win situations<\/b> for everyone involved \u2013 a win for <strong>you<\/strong>, for the <strong>organisation<\/strong> and, above all, for our <strong>ocean<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\">The organisation is <b>not for profit<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><b>S<\/b><b>urpluses<\/b><b> <\/b>are shared with <b>all co-creators<\/b> in proportion to their contribution to the implementation of our goals.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\">The rest is invested in the <b>expansion of the organisation<\/b> \u2013 in particular the fleet.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\">Under <strong>no circumstances<\/strong> will there ever be investors or others with similar <strong>capitalistic intentions<\/strong> who receive a profit share without an <strong>actual<\/strong>,<strong> real<\/strong> contribution.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><b>Hierarchies<\/b> should be kept <b>as flat as possible<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\">Ideally, the most <b>competent<\/b> person for a given task will <b>perform<\/b> or <b>lead<\/b> it<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\">Our shipbuilding activities must be <b>as environmentally friendly as possible<\/b>, in other words, with the <b>lowest possible impact<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\">We want to produce everything that makes sense <strong>ourselves<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\">We build whenever possible <strong>outdoors<\/strong> in the fresh air<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\">We <strong>encourage volunteers<\/strong> to help us realise our mission.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\">As soon as our first <a class=\"western\" href=\"https:\/\/int.cleanwreck.org\/?page_id=617\">LRV<\/a> is in service, we will <strong>transport<\/strong> our <strong>co-creators<\/strong> and all the <strong>building materials<\/strong> we need <b>emission-free<\/b> ourselves and thus significantly <b>reduce our carbon footprint<\/b> further.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Principles for all our activities The objective of cleanwreck.org is to conserve the ocean and have fun doing so.
