{"id":947,"date":"2023-02-16T15:41:09","date_gmt":"2023-02-16T14:41:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/int.cleanwreck.org\/?p=947"},"modified":"2023-02-16T15:41:11","modified_gmt":"2023-02-16T14:41:11","slug":"original-plans-of-leon-arrived","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/int.cleanwreck.org\/?p=947","title":{"rendered":"Original Plans of L\u00e9on arrived"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thanks to <strong><em>James Ronald Archer<\/em><\/strong> (yes, indeed a true relative of <strong><em>Colin Archer<\/em><\/strong>) chairman of the Society <a href=\"https:\/\/vestfoldmuseene.no\/larvik-museum\"><strong>Larvik Maritime Museum<\/strong><\/a> and <strong><em>Gro Stalsberg<\/em><\/strong> of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/vestfoldmuseene.no\/\">Vestfoldmuseene<\/a>, Larvik Museum<\/strong>, we now have copies of the original plans of the <strong><em>L\u00e9on<\/em><\/strong>. As we already suspected, <em>Archer&#8217;s<\/em> lines are (of course) much more harmonious and balanced than the adapted plans of <em>Underhill&#8217;s Plank-on-Frame Models<\/em> suggested.
